Cairo – Mubasher: The OPEC member countries may convene an urgent meeting if oil prices fall to $30 per barrel, said Abbas Al Naqi, OAPEC's Secretary General.
The statement came during OAPEC meeting held today in Cairo.
OAPEC added a new agenda item to be discussed annually, which is oil prices and output of each country, he added.
Al Naqi told Mubasher that OAPEC does not intervene to define oil prices or quantities of production.
