OPEC warns against freezing Algeris deal

Mubasher: The secretary general of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, warned that not implementing the Algiers deal would have negative consequences on the oil industry.

Barkindo said to reporters on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) that failing to jointly act with the non-OPEC major producers regarding the Algiers output deal will elongate the period of week growth, and instability in the market.
