Dubai – Mubasher: Global crude prices edged up on Monday, bucking forecasts of a slide following terror attacks that hit the French capital on Friday.
Analysts earlier expected prices of oil and other raw commodities to decline in Monday’s early trade due to fears about more slowdown in the global economy.
At 7:07 GMT, crude rose by 0.61% to $40.98 per barrel, while Brent added 0.70% to $44.78.
