Mubasher: The Iranian oil minister said on Saturday that crude oil prices could jump to $55 per barrel if the members of the organization of the petroleum exporting countries (OPEC) and the non-OPEC major producers cooperated.
Bijan Zanganeh remarks were made in a TV interview, after his meeting with the secretary general of OPEC, Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, according to Oman News Agency (ONA).
It is worth noting that the price of Brent crude increased on Friday and reached $46.86 per barrel.
Despite reaching an initial agreement in September, there are still some disagreements between major producers regarding limiting output.
OPEC members are set to hold an official meeting that will include Russia in Vienna on 30 November.
