Kuwait – Mubasher: The oil minister of Kuwait said that there are expectations for oil prices to reach an average between $50 and $60 per barrel (pb), in line with executing the OPEC agreement by the beginning of 2017.
Preparations for returning oil production into the Saudi-Kuwaiti Neutral Zone have started, oil minister Essam Al-Marzouq said in a press conference held on Thursday, noting that the final decision is awaited to be taken by the officials.
The oil production which is expected to be delivered from the joint fields with Saudi Arabia will lead to a decrease in production from other oilfields in order to preserve Kuwait’s share in OPEC, the oil minister noted.
