Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: UAE’s Energy Minister Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei said Monday that the fundamentals of the oil market would not change in 2016 but might see lower production levels in the first six months of the year.
There are huge economic challenges facing producers outside the OPEC, stated the minister, adding that their production should be fixed amid the strong oversupply.
Al Mazrouei told reporters that an increase in oil production would harm prices.
