Mubasher: Brent crude oil levelled up 0.13% or 6 cents to settle at $46.32 per barrel by 3:30 GMT during the Asian trading sessions on Tuesday, after it had fallen by 51 cents on Monday.
Meanwhile, the US crude oil inched up 0.09% or 4 cents to reach $44.80 a barrel, after it had lost 65 cents in the previous session.
Speculations were back to cover the losing positions, pushing oil prices into the green zone, said oil markets analyst Mohamad Al-Harami.
The expectations for oil prices to exceed $50 per barrel are not easy to approach unless higher global demand on crude oil is seen, the analyst added.
Brent crude oil may continue to fall in the coming sessions to reach $45 and $42 a barrel respectively, after it has reached above the level $47, the analyst noted.
