Mubasher: Oil prices fell on Thursday, ending a four-day gaining streak, following data that shows a rise in US crude stocks.
By 03:55 GMT on Thursday, Brent crude oil futures fell 0.4% to $56.94 per barrel (pb), and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures declined 0.41% or 22 cents to $53.84 pb.
The American Petroleum Institute (API) said Wednesday that US crude oil inventories rose 4.2 million barrels last week.
