Mubasher: Oil prices rose in the week that ended on Friday, with growing speculations of an OPEC agreement to limit crude output.
Brent crude futures increased by 4.3% last week to $46.8 per barrel (pb), while the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures grew 5.3% to $45.6 pb.
Oil prices plunged in global markets in the week that ended on 11 November due to the fears of a supply glut after an OPEC report forecasted current output levels to continue in 2017.
