Mubasher: Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic) said on Monday that it will sign as much as 30 contracts on 17 December to launch its project in Muscat, Liwa Plastics Industries Complex, which is worth $5.2 billion.
Hilal Abdullah, Orpic’s general service support manager, told Oman News Agency that the company will sign more than 30 agreements, including engineering, procurement and construction contracts for serving its Liwa project.
He added that Orpic is seeking to get fund of more than $4 billion, 80% of the project’s total cost of $5.2 billion to establish the complex.
