Kuwait-Mubasher: The crude oil production in Kuwait decreased to 1.1 million barrels per day, while gas production reached 620 million cubic meters, said spokesman of Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Saad Al-Azmi.
The spokesman said that the production came as an output to the emergency plan set for the workers’ strike.
KOC produces 3 million barrels per day that forms 90% of Kuwait’s overall oil production.
Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries put an emergency plan for the oil sector following the strike in oil and petrochemical unions and syndicates.
