Oil recovery to push GCC markets to rise – Analysts

By: Mahmoud Gamal

Mubasher: A fluctuating upward trend is foreseen in the gulf stock markets on Sunday, in line with the recovery of oil prices. The expected increase comes despite the vote UK will do over its membership in the Eurozone, analysts told Mubasher.

The GCC shares, especially small caps, have reached low levels that attract investors to purchase; however, the worries from global factors still affects trading activity, said analyst Waddah Al-Taha.

Both gulf and foreign portfolio investments still make a good use of the anticipation which  controls the markets, forming new purchasing positions, said technical analyst Amir Al-Mansour.
