Mubasher: Oman Air has announced that it commenced flights to Athens International Airport on Saturday.

The first flight from Oman to Greece will depart Muscat International Airport at 2:35 pm and will arrive in Athens at 7:50, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA).

“I am pleased to announce the addition of the Greek capital to our network. Since we announced this route last year, we have seen strong interest to this destination, both from the travel trade community and leisure travellers,” Oman Air’s CEO Abdulaziz Al Raisi said.

Athens is Oman Air’s 54th destination and second route launched in 2019 after Alexandria, Egypt.

Chief commercial officer of Omar Air, Paul Starrs, commented: “We are confident the addition of Athens onto our expanding global network will be appreciated by the business communities, especially Small and Medium enterprises (SMEs), as well as holiday seekers looking for new travel experiences.”
