Oman Insurance Q2 profits down 8.5%

Dubai – Mubasher: Oman Insurance Co. (OIC) on Thursday reported an 8.5% decrease in net profits for the second quarter of 2016.

The company's profits reached AED 36.07 million ($9.8 million) in Q2-16 from AED 39.44 million ($10.73 million) in Q2-15, according to a bourse filing.

The Dubai-listed company' profits fell 29.8% to AED 58.5 million in the six-month period of 2016 from AED 83.3 million in year-ago period.
