Oman oil price down 61 cents

Mubasher: Oman's oil prices fell 61 cents per barrel (pb) on Monday for October delivery, according to Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME).

Oman’s crude oil retreated to $46.87 pb from $47.48 pb on Friday, according Oman News Agency (ONA).

The average price of Oman’s oil for September delivery reached $43.4, with a decline of $3.2 pb compared to August’s price. 

Oil prices registered today the lowest level since 4 July 2016 after declining 1% amid doubts about having a satisfactory agreement in the next oil producers' meeting.

By 3:15am GMT, Brent crude futures were down 1% to $50.4 pb.

US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was lower 35 cents at $48.8 a barrel.
