Mubasher: Oman has ranked third among the Arab countries and 30th worldwide is the list of best countries to be an immigrant in, according to a recent report.
The ranking is based on an analysis on immigration that was carried out by US News in cooperation with the World Report, as reported by Oman News Agency (ONA).
It is worth that Sweden was ranked first, and was followed by Canada, Switzerland, Australia, Germany and the USA.
According to ONA, the report took into account measures such as economic stability, income equality and job markets, using a special survey of the opinions of more than 21,000 business leaders and members of the public.
Data on migrant populations in different countries provided by the World Bank and the United Nations was also used, as were remittances sent back to their countries of birth, the news agency noted.
