Mubasher: Oman has started reducing its oil production rate by 45,000 barrels per day, in line with the recent agreement by OPEC and non-OPEC countries to stabilize oil prices, according to an official statement.
Oman's daily production will be decreased to 970,000 barrels as compared to over one million barrels in the previous period, the Ministry of Oil and Gas said in a statement issued on Wednesday.
On 10 December, the agreement said it would aim to reduce the international production by about 558,000 barrels per day for a period of six months starting 6 January.
