Mubasher: The Central Bank of Oman issued on Tuesday treasury bills worth OMR 15 million ($38.86 million) for a maturity period of 91 days, from 20 April to 20 July.
The average accepted price reached OMR 99.788 ($259.16) for each OMR 100 ($259.71), while the minimum accepted price came to OMR 99.78 ($259.14) per OMR 100 ($259.71), with an average yield of 0.85415%.
The interest rate on the Repo operations with CBO is 1% for the period between 19 April and 25 April, while the discount rate on the treasury bills discounting facility with CBO is 1.75% for the same period.
The treasury bills are short-term highly secured financial instruments issued by the CBO on behalf of the Government, which helps the licenced commercial banks.
