Mubasher: Inflation rate in Oman recorded an increase of 1.01% in October compared on an annual basis, according to the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
This increase was attributed to the increase in prices of transport group by 5.56%, education group by 2.02%, miscellaneous goods and services groups by 1.44%, housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 0.57%, restaurants and hotels group by 0.35%.
The general consumer price index (CPI) recorded an increase by 0.32% last month compared to the previous month.
