Mubasher: Inflation rate in Oman reached 1.9% during the first half of the year, as shown by the data of the Central Bank of Oman.
According to the central bank, the consumer price index (CPI) recorded 1.9% by the end of June 2017, due to the rise in the fuel prices, as well as the increasing costs of education and transportation.
It is worth noting that during that period the prices of furniture and home appliances also grew.
