Mubasher: Oman producer price index dropped 19.1% in the second quarter of 2016 compared to the same period last year, according to the Omani National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The national centre for statistics said in a statement on Sunday that oil and gas products prices led to this declined as it declined by 22.3% year-on-year.
Non-oil prices also declined by 6.3%, as per the latest data revealed by the NCSI.
Crude oil and natural gas prices also fell by 23.7% compared to the second quarter of 2015.
Similarly, non-oil manufacturing also decreased by 8.4%, according to the statement.
