Mubasher: The total real estate deals in the Sultanate of Oman rose 30.7% last January, according to figures by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The collected fees for all legal actions reached OMR 4.8 million ($12.467 million), with an increase of 29.7%, the traded value of sales contracts also leapt by 24.7% to OMR 119.2 million ($309.610 million).
The numbers of sales contracts increased 3.25% to 8,310 contracts in January, compared to 6,270 contracts in the same month of 2015.
Mortgage contracts trade value rose by 32.9% to OMR 228.3 ($592.987 million) in January, versus OMR 171.8 million ($446.233 million) a year ago.
