Mubasher: The Omani trade balance recorded a surplus of OMR 1.40 billion by the end of September 2017 compared with OMR 944.3 million during the same period in the year before.
The total value of goods exported by Oman increased by 22% and amounted to OMR 9.14 billion, while total commodity exports amounted to OMR 7.5 billion, according to the statistics released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
Omani imports of goods increased by 18% to reach OMR 7.74 billion compared with OMR 6.56 billion during the same period in 2016.
