Mubasher: The tenders of the development of Oman’s Shinas and Thumrait Industrial Cities are expected to be launched locally and internationally during 2019.
Works in Mahas area will start soon, along with the final stages in Suhar and Sur Industrial cities, CEO of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), Hilal bin Hamad Al Hasani, stated.
Al Hasani revealed that the year 2019 would also see the inauguration of Samail Industrial City and the Facility Building in Suhar Industrial City.
“The Royal Decree [No. 32 of 2015] has provided the legal basis for real partnership with the private sector and enhanced Madayn’s role in investment in the field of development, management, and operation of industrial cities and specialised economic areas,” the top official said.
