Mubasher: The number of tourists who arrived in Oman during the first ten months of 2015 amounted to 2.2 million, Oman News Agency cited official statistics as saying.
A total of 949,060 tourists came from GCC states, while the number of Indian tourists reached 237,300, showed the statistics.
Meanwhile, the number of UK and German tourists amounted to 120,090 and 77,340 respectively.
Total revenues from three- and five-star hotels reached OMR 153.19 million till October-end.
The hotel occupancy rate reached 64.3% in October, down 1.3% from 65.2% in the same month a year ago.
