Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of Muscat Securities Market ended Monday’s session with a fall of 0.01% or 0.5 point to the level of 5,811.82 points.
Trading volume decreased to 10.5 million shares from 13.79 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also shrank to OMR 2.1 million from OMR 2.19 million.
The financial sector declined 0.1% as Ahli Bank topped losers with a 4.28% decrease.
The services sector also retreated 0.03%, dragged by a 2.4% fall in Al Suwadi Power.
The industrial sector, however, rose 0.54% as Al Jazeera Steel Products led the green list with a growth of 5.14%.
Galfar Engineering was the largest-traded stock with 1.48 million shares, whereas Bank Muscat made the highest liquidity of OMR 402,980.
