Mubasher: The benchmark index of Muscat Securities Market (MSM) continued to decline for the fifth session in a row, posting 5,361.98 points after retreating by 0.07% or 3.63 points on Wednesday.
Also, Sharia index dropped 0.18% or 1.56 points to close at 851.90 points.
Turnover stood at OMR 1.6 million, as 5.2 million shares were traded through 482 transactions.
Industrial sector fell by 0.14%, while the services and financial sectors retreated by 0.13% and 0.15%, respectively.
Shares of 38 instruments were traded as 11 rose, nine fell, and 18 remained unchanged.
Oman Fisheries topped the winners by adding 1.92%, while Oman Flour Mills led the losers as it declined 3.02%.
Band Nizwa was the most active stock as about 741,990 shares were traded, while Oman Telecom recorded the highest turnover of about OMR 434,300.
