Mubasher: Three Omani companies have recently participated in the International Guangzhou Fishery and Seafood Expo (FISHEX) in China, according to Oman News Agency (ONA).
The three-day event was held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, and it was planned to facilitate the international fishery and seafood industries, as well as to provide a platform for exhibition, procurement, trade negotiation, technical forum and information communication.
The director general of export development in Ithraa, Nasima al-Balushi said “we want Omani companies to be noticed and break into international market to increase our international presence. Specialized trade shows like FISHEX offer us an excellent opportunity to present our products and meet potential importers".
“Strengthening economic ties with Chinese companies is key to Omani companies. And by exhibiting at FISHEX we are able to showcase Oman’s food Fishery and Seafood sector and help local companies take advantage of Asia’s growing market,” he added.
