Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, turned to the red territory on Sunday after closing down 0.28% or 15.75 points to reach the level of 5,541.98 points.
Sharia Index also slipped 0.41% to the level of 872.9 points.
Trading volume came to 13.28 million shares worth OMR 2.53 million through 616 trades.
MSM sectors fell collectively, as industrial, financial and services sectors plummeted by 0.66%, 0.31% and 0.05%, respectively.
Out of 43 companies, five shares closed Sunday’s trading in green, 14 others moved down, and the 245 remaining steadied.
Oman Fisheries topped the gainers as it added 3.70%, while Al Jazeera Steel Products was the weakest performer with a 7.81% decrease.
Al Jazeera Steel Products made the biggest trading volume and value, with 3.77 shares traded worth OMR 446,120.
MSM 30 closed the last session, Tuesday, with a rise of 9.88 points or 0.18% to 5,557.73 points.
