Mubasher: The production of Omani refineries and oil industries increased 13% year-on-year in the first seven months of 2017, according to a report by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The production of car fuel (95-octane) dropped 13% to 9.03 million barrels, while the 91-octane production increased 55% to 5.88 million barrels, with sales increasing 29% to 4.4 million barrels, according to Oman News Agency (ONA), citing the NCSI report.
Diesel fuel production increased 18% to 3.37 million barrels, with sales rising 5% to 9.65 million barrels.
Liquefied petroleum gas production hiked 62% to 2.73 million barrels, boosting sales by 6% to 1.34 million barrels.
Petrol production fell 11% to 113,000 metric tonnes, while para-xylene production dropped 15% to 333,000 metric tonnes.
