Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) opened Sunday’s session in the green zone, as the benchmark MSM 30 rose 0.12% or 6.6 points to 5,333.27 points.
The Shariah index also increased 0.23% or 1.88 points to the level of 836.46 points.
Trading volume reached 2.52 million shares in early trading, through 174 transactions, with a turnover of OMR 737,000 ($1.91 million).
Construction Material Industry was the best performing share after adding 3.13%, while Oman Textile was the worst performer after falling 8.54%.
Bank Nizwa was the most active with a volume of 431,520 traded shares, while Omantel made the highest trading value activity with a liquidity of OMR 236,290 ($613,661).
MSM 30 closed Thursday at the level of 5,326.67 points after rising 0.35% or 18.57 points.
