Omani stocks up 0.22% in mid-trade

Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, gained 0.22% or 11.56 points to the level of 5,309.29 points in Tuesday’s mid-trading.

The Shariah index also rose 0.4% to 826.88 points.

The main index and Shariah index closed yesterday with a fall of 0.9% for each.

Trading volume reached 6.43 million shares exchanged at OMR 1.42 million ($3.68 million) through 400 trades.

Al Batinah Development & Investment was the best performer with a rise of 7.14%, while Oman Cables Industry was the worst after falling 1.62%.

Galfar Engineering made the biggest trading volume activity with more than 1 million traded shares, while Muscat Bank made the highest trading value activity with a liquidity of OMR 412,170 ($1.07 million).
