Mubasher: Oman Telecommunications (Omantel) has accepted a purchasing offer from WorldCall Services Limited and Ferret Consulting to acquire Omantel ordinary and convertible preference shares in Pakistan-based Worldcall Telecom Limited (WLT), according to a Monday’s bourse statements.
The acquirers are hands on obtaining all regulatory approvals in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The acceptance of this offer will leave no material financial impact on Omantel, the bourse filing indicated.
The stock quote was 0.68% lower to OMR 1.5 at Monday’s early trading session.
