Mubasher: Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) announced on Sunday that its ordinary general meeting (OGM) will be held on 24 March.
The OGM will discuss paying cash dividends at 60% of the company’s capital or 60 Baisas per share, totalling OMR 450,000 ($1.168 million), for the fiscal year 2015.
The company’s shareholders will also look into distributing quarterly cash dividends at 40% of the capital in August.
Omantel earlier posted net losses of OMR 34.69 million ($90.115 million) in the fourth quarter of 2015, versus a net profit of OMR 31.67 million ($82.270 million) in the same period of 2014.
