Dubai – Mubasher: One Million Arab Coders Initiative, which was launched by Dubai Future Foundation and Hussain Sajwani-DAMAC Foundation, will represent an important incentive for creating millions of jobs, according to a report published by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
The created jobs will be focused on coding, smart phone programming, and web designing fields, and will make up a portion of the 80 million jobs projected to be created by 2020, PwC’s report revealed.
Developing skills relevant to information technology and telecommunications will boost the national economies and attract millions of dollars in investments in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, PwC explained.
The information technology- and telecommunication-based economies will utilise this initiative to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) attract investment partners, the report concluded.
