Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The one-year Emirates Interbank Offered Rates (EIBOR) has increased by 17 basis points, while the one-night EIBOR rose by 23 basis points.
The one-year EIBOR reached 3.22% versus 3.05% on Thursday and the one-night EIBOR recorded 1.7008%, according to a report released by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
The USD LIBOR is expected to increase in the coming months and will push up the EIBOR, which is pegged to the US currency, the central bank noted.
