Doha – Mubasher: Ooredoo extended its strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei for another five years, as the Qatar-based telecoms provider aims at boosting its partnership with the Chinese telecommunications equipment company and supporting its leadership in the market.
The agreement, signed in Doha, was inked by Ooredoo’s Chief Operating Officer Ahmed Al-Derbesti and Huawei’s Deputy Chairman Eric Xu, according to a statement viewed by Mubasher.
Huawei, under the agreement, will provide various solutions and advanced services to all Ooredoo subsidiaries, like 2G, 3G, LTE and TE-A technologies.
