Doha – Mubasher: Ooredoo Tamweel Limited (OTL), a subsidiary of Ooredoo, will pay the periodic distributions to sukuk holders on 5 June, according to a statement on Tuesday.
On 19 April, OTL had paid $18.75 million as a credit interest for the holders of Global Medium Term Note (GMTN) bonds.
Ooredoo shareholders approved distributing 35% of the par value of shares at QAR 3.5 per share as cash dividends.
The Qatari telecommunications company had previously reported a 3.5% growth in its profits to QAR 2.193 billion in 2016, compared to QAR 2.118 billion in 2015.
Profits dropped 33.5% by the end of the first quarter of 2017 to QAR 584.11 million, compared to QAR 878.64 million in Q1-16.
