Mubasher: Ooredoo on Monday announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ooredoo Tamweel Limited (OTL), will pay its sukukholders’ the principal and final periodic payment on Monday, 3 December.
Ooredoo will pay noteholders an amount of $1.25 billion towards principal and $18.99 million towards periodic payment on the final periodic payment date falling due on 3 December, the Qatar Stock Exchange- (QSE) and the Abu Dhabi Securities- (ADX) listed firm said.
It is worth noting that the telecom company posted a 29.9% year-on-year drop in profits for the first nine months of 2018, recording QAR 1.09 billion.
By 12:21 pm Qatar time, Ooredoo’s stock rose 1.86% at QAR 81.06.
