Mubasher: Ooredoo reported a 24.8% year-on-year drop in net profit during the full year of 2018, recording KWD 29.7 million.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) declined to KWD 0.59 last year, according to a company statement released on Thursday.
The decreased profit stemmed from the underperformance of the Algerian unit, Ooredoo added.
The company’s board has recommended the distribution of KWD 0.5 per share in cash dividends.
