Doha – Mubasher: Qatar’s telecom provider Ooredoo’s stock reached its highest level in a year and a half, when it gained 3.35% by 12:00pm Qatar local time on Monday, leading the rising stocks in the Qatar Exchange (QE).
The telecom sector added 2.8% on the back of Ooredoo, while the main index grew 0.77% or 85.4 points reaching 11139.31 points.
A total of 212,000 Ooredoo’s shares were traded through 308 transactions, at a total turnover of QAR 21.34 million, making it the second in terms of traded value.
