Ooredoo to pay $24m bond interest in December

Doha – Mubasher: Qatar’s Ooredoo announced Monday that its subsidiary Ooredoo International Finance Limited Company will pay the bonds interest with maturity in December 2015 at an estimated value of $23.62 million.

The yields comes for bonds worth $600 million, with an interest rate of 7.875% falling due on 10 June, 2019, the company said in a statement.

The telecom provider, which is listed in Qatar and Abu Dhabi, said in last September that it will pay the yields of the bonds with maturity on October 2015, with an estimated value of $35.63 million.

Ooredoo earlier posted a profit of about QAR 756 million in the third quarter of fiscal year 2015, versus a profit of QAR 375 million in the same period last year.
