Cairo – Mubasher: Orange Egypt for Telecommunications will receive fourth generation (4G) cellular frequencies on Thursday, according to the minister of communications and information technology Yasser El-Kady assertions.
The Egyptian telecom operator invested about EGP 8.6 billion, equivalent to $487.53 million, in the 4G licence, Orange Egypt added in a statement on Wednesday.
Orange stressed on investing in Egypt after a ten-month period of launching the 4G services.
