Cairo – Mubasher: Orascom Construction (OC) and the UAE-based Al Sahraa Group will develop Fujairah International Airport at a value of $180 million.
Orascom's stake in the project reached 60%, the company said in a statement, giving no further details on the timeframe of the project.
The project includes all infrastructure works for developing the airport, comprising building air control tower, expanding the current runway, establishing new emergency runway with highways, as well as the installation of all airport systems, the statement showed.
