Cairo - Mubasher: Orascom Development Holding reported net profits of EGP 308 million for the first nine months of 2015.
The company's net earnings recorded a significant increase of 217.5% from EGP 97 million in the comparable period a year earlier.
The profits of the mother company's shareholders climbed to EGP 290 million in this nine -month period, compared with EGP 27.1 million a year earlier.
The company attributed its profits increase to the growing demand on its projects in El Gouna, which boosted in its turn the sales up by 166% y-o-y.
Earlier, the company said it has recorded CHF 3.3 million (EGP 26.6 million) in investment gains during the first quarter of 2015, compared with CHF 4.9 million (EGP 39.5 million) a year earlier.
