Cairo – Mubasher: Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding (OTMT) declined 5.5% to EGP 0.86 per share by 11:03am Cairo local time.
The stock led trading volumes after 99.8 million shares were changed hands in 1,150 transactions at EGP 87.69 million.
Earlier, the company announced that Egyptian billionaire and business tycoon Naguib Sawiris resigned from his duties as the managing director of the company, effective 1 January 2017.
Tamer El-Mahdy will be appointed as the new managing director.
