Mubasher: Orascom Telecom registered a drop of 87% in profits during the first quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period a year ago.
Profits plunged to EGP 48.7 million ($5.47 million) in Q1-16 from EGP 373.85 million ($42 million) in Q1-15, according to a bourse statement issued Thursday.
The standalone profits reached EGP 16.13 million in Q1-16 as compared with EGP 221.47 million in Q1-15.
