Cairo – Mubasher: Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding (OTMT) on Sunday reported a consolidated net profit of EGP 897.5 million for fiscal year 2016, versus a consolidated net loss of EGP 3.6 billion for FY15.
Standalone net profit for FY16 reached EGP 1.08 billion, against a standalone net loss of EGP 247.3 million for FY15, according to a bourse filing.
Consolidated revenues increased in FY16 to EGP 538.4 million from EGP 291.4 million for FY15.
Consolidated foreign exchange earnings reached EGP 1.4 million in FY16, while standalone foreign exchange gains amounted to EGP 1.6 million, another statement said.
The company’s board approved a proposal to distribute cash dividends of 10 piasters per share for FY16.
