Cairo - Mubasher: Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding (OTMT) announced that Egyptian billionaire and business tycoon Naguib Sawiris has resigned from his duties as the managing director of the company, effective 1 January 2017.
According to OTMT’s statement issued on Sunday, Tamer El-Mahdy will be appointed as the new managing director.
El-Mahdy previously served as the company’s deputy chairman, he was also the CEO of Orascom Telecom Algerie (OTA)
Executive board member for financial and administrative affairs, Youssef Fayez Shoukry, has also resigned, Khaled EL-Leithy will be in charge of the financial sector.
