Dubai – Mubasher: Orient Insurance Company obtained all the official approval to set up Orient UNB Takaful, according to a bourse statement.
The Dubai-listed insurer will own 34.5% stake in the new firm.
The new firm is likely to see written premiums worth AED 300 million during its first year of operation, according to Orient’s CEO Omer Hassan El Amin.
